The Boreal Forest Academy is an educational division of The Boreal Forest Platform. It works as an open platform for distant learning and exchange of experience in the field of sustainable intensive forest management amongst forest sector companies, scientific community, forest management authorities and environmental NGOs. Only for adult (18+) members.

Along with field study tours The Boreal Forest Academy is aimed at providing a background for open dialogue and distant learning through sharing best practices in sustainable forestry for achieving a balance between timber industry development and protection of high conservation values of forests.
